About The Role

Located across the Loddon Mallee Region, successful applicants will report to the Support Manager or Service Lead and work within the Purpose and Values of Aruma. As part of a high-performing Youth Support Team, you will deliver a positive customer experience to young people in residential care, including those with disability, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and empowered.

Key Focus Areas

Provide direct care within a residential setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing home-like environmentPromote positive family relationships and community connectionsWork within a trauma-informed framework to support young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours

What You’ll Need

Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care)Mandatory Top-Up Units Residential Care (4 Modules)Valid Australian full driver’s licenceValid Australian working rightsWillingness to complete a Child Safety and Personal Screening CheckHold (or be willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid and CPR qualifications


Skills & Experience

Availability to work any rostered shifts across a 24/7 roster model, including awake nights and sleepoversPassion for supporting young people who have experienced trauma and have a disabilityResilience and commitment to trauma-informed care
