Medical Front Desk Assistant
We are looking for a skilled Medical Front Desk Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support our clinical team.
1. Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures, ensuring seamless registration and onboarding.
2. Answer emails and phone calls promptly, handling inquiries professionally and providing clear information.
3. Advise patients of preparation requirements prior to relevant scans, ensuring they understand the necessary steps.
4. Perform billing procedures for private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA clients, maintaining accurate records and resolving any discrepancies.
5. Collaborate closely with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of patient matters.
Key Requirements:
* Clear verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, staff, and external partners.
* Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow efficiently, minimising wait times and maximising productivity.
* Confidence working across multiple screens and systems, navigating complex software applications with ease.
* Availability to work Saturday shifts every 6 weeks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in your role.
