Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst (BA) in Melbourne or Sydney to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.

What you'll be doing
* Run collaborative workshops with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
* Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and data models
* Liaise between business units and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements
* Participate in solution design discussions and provide input on technical feasibility
* Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and root cause analysis for system changes and issues
* Assist in the development of test plans, test cases, and perform UAT support
* Develop automated end-to-end and regression test cases
* Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups
* Coordinate with QA, developers, and product managers to ensure high-quality deliverables
* Prepare master, transaction and configuration data
* Create and maintain system documentation and user manuals
* Engage in practical on-site problem solving. Present findings and recommendations to working groups
What are we looking for?
* 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technical environment
* Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
* Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, and wireframing tools
* Ability to read and write basic SQL queries for data analysis and validation
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, system integrations, across master and transaction data
* Demonstrated experience with analytical data platforms.
* Experience in logistics industry is an advantage.
