**Your new role**
This role will report directly to the General Manager of Commercial Services. Your role will be to provide effective and efficient commercial strategies, financial and commercial management, contract reviews and formation. In addition to this will provide accurate advice to senior management on matters relating to commercial opportunities and risk associated with the projects to ensure financial success of contracts and business units.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Participation in the tendering process including pricing preparation, contract reviews and customer engagement.
- Conduct comprehensive commercial analysis and provide decision-making support for Centurion's diverse business units.
- Proactively drive initiatives to reduce operational costs by identifying opportunities, executing strategies, providing support, and reporting on results.
- Evaluate new business initiatives to support and enhance overall business performance.
- Development of business summaries including key performance indicators (KPIs), operational, commercial and legal overviews to assist management team in understanding of key contracts and projects.
- Perform Post Implementation Reviews to compare actual performance with expected performance, providing feedback and recommendations to the business.
- Develop and prepare justifications for capital investments and business cases.
- Evaluate performance against established business cases.
- Management and oversight of rates including annual reviews and fuel levies.
- Collaborate closely with the finance team to improve the accuracy of weekly and monthly P&L reports, and provide operational and commercial commentary to support trend analysis.
- Perform detailed monthly variance analysis for the profit and loss statement (P&L).
- Analyse run rates and identify the main drivers of business performance.
- Lead efforts to enhance the financial reporting process, including implementing system changes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
**What you'll bring**
- 10+ years experience within Commercial
- Degree Qualified/ CPA/CAA or equivalent
- Skilled in tendering, pricing, contract review, contract management, business systems and process improvement.
- Ability and confidence to communicate and present analytical findings in a concise, insightful and simplistic manner
- Proven ability to add value to an organisation's financial success
- Outstanding commercial acumen with the ability to work to deadlines
- Proven ability to provide a high level of stakeholder management
- Problem solving skills - analytical skills
