Job Summary
This role is a critical component of the Kerbside Services unit, responsible for providing essential services to the community. As a Public Litter Bin Driver, you will be responsible for operating a rear load Waste Collection vehicle to collect public litter bins in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive a waste collection vehicle to carry out collections in accordance with established routes and schedules.
* Conduct pre-start checks on vehicles daily to ensure they are in good working order.
* Operate an onboard data collection system to record relevant collection information.
* Carry out collection and disposal programs in accordance with safety protocols and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lift heavy loads and work in varying weather conditions.
