Job Title: Specification Sales Executive
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading player in engineered heating and water technologies as a Specification Sales Representative for the East Coast and NZ.
We are seeking a technically minded Business Development professional to own the specification channel across NSW, VIC & NZ. This role requires someone who has already progressed quickly up the individual contributor positions available to you and is ready for a pathway to Specification Sales Team Leadership.
The Opportunity:
Drive new specifications for electrical hot water solutions across multi-residential, aged care, education, and commercial projects.
Own the full sales cycle – lead to install – while becoming the go-to technical specialist. Engage consultants, developers, and builders to make a real business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the pipeline across NSW, VIC & NZ – lead generation to spec win to install.
* Drive specifications in major builds by engaging hydraulic consultants, developers, and builders.
* Be the Technical Authority: Master electrical hot water design, compliance, and loads.
* Act as the internal and external specialist.
* Collaborate to Win: Work with territory managers, merchants, and plumbers to uncover projects, protect existing specs, and beat competitors.
* Use digital tools (BCI, EstimateOne, CE Dynamics) to track opportunities.
* Shape Market Direction: Feed insights into product, market, and competitor strategy.
* Identify future revenue opportunities and support growth planning.
What You'll Need:
You're earlier in your career but moving fast. Bring:
* 5-6 years' BD and solution sales experience.
* Technical mindset and patience for long sales cycles.
* Strong relationship-building with senior stakeholders.
* Value-driven selling approach.
* Exceptional planning and follow-through.
