About this Role:
* We are seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and reconcile bank statements on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
* Liaise with departments to obtain receipt and payment details in a timely manner.
* Reconcile and follow up with vehicle debtors to ensure prompt payment.
* Answer queries related to vehicle funds receipts and provide assistance as needed.
* Reconcile and follow up with parts and service debtors to ensure accurate accounts.
* Perform monthly reconciliation for bank accounts and identify any discrepancies.
* Ensure daily processing of Vic Roads payments and maintain accurate records.
* Process daily banking deposits and undertake other administrative tasks as required.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
* Prior experience in an accounts or administration role is essential.
* You must be able to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and possess strong communication skills.
* Able to collaborate across departments and have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Confident data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) are necessary.
