Due to ongoing growth and continued project demand, we are seeking experienced and motivated Riggers to join our team.
About the Role
As a Rigger at K&R Fabrications, you will be responsible for supporting maintenance and project work across a range of industrial and operational environments. Safety is central to everything we do, and applicants must demonstrate strong experience working within structured safety systems.
Key responsibilities include:
* Working safely at all times in accordance with company and site-specific requirements
* Following safe systems of work, including JSEA’s, SSW, Hot Work Permits, and LOTO procedures
* Performing safety checks and inspections on all equipment prior to and during use
* Confidently following written and verbal instructions
* Working safely in confined spaces and at heights
* Ensuring all technical, safety, and contract-specific requirements are met
* Previous experience working within BlueScope Steel environments (highly regarded)
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* Rigging qualifications with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a rigger
* Construction White Card
* Current Driver’s Licence (HR / HC / MC licences highly regarded but not essential)
* High Risk Work Licence (desirable)
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team
* Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to workplace safety
