Our client is one of the world's well-known IT companies, with a portfolio of tools used widely in the IT industry. It is a multinational company with development offices across the world. At this moment, the SoftServe team is working on nearly 10 different subprojects/products for this client. Our customer is a technically mature company with huge expertise and innovative approach, widely using new technologies existing on the market (big data, analytics, etc.).
On this project, we are working with a service aimed to provide support the first and second line of defence for front-end monorepo support, focusing on repository builds and tooling reliability and community support -Shield Engineer. This role is critical in ensuring build stability, tooling reliability, and high‐quality support for the front-end monorepo engineering community. Operating at the center of daily development flows, Shield Engineers help keep the master branch healthy, maintain seamless build operations, and provide timely assistance to internal teams.
YOU ARE
Possessing 4+ years of experience by developing highly available enterprise web applications with state of the art Front End web technologies:
* JS/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Redux
* NodeJS experience
* Knowledge and understanding of REST, building a REST API
* Testing and tooling: Proficiency with tools such as Jest, Cypress, Webpack, Gulp, Jest, Jasmine, ESLint,
* Experience with the AWS stack would be a great plus
* An excellent communicator able to work cross-functionally across multiple departments well (with Intermediate Strong+ English level)
* A passionate problem solver with a focus on high‐quality user experience
* Creative problem solving, strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
* Customer focus and Client orientation skills. Focused on team results, detail orientation
* Ready to take responsibility and ownership over tasks
