Essential Duties
Includes the following responsibilities; other duties may be assigned:
1. Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices.
2. Inspect vehicles for damages and verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
3. Record damages and missing items on the delivery receipt.
4. Park new vehicles in designated areas.
5. Catalog and store keys.
6. Assign stock control numbers to vehicles.
7. Move sold vehicles to optimize space and maintain lot order.
8. Deliver sold vehicles to the preparation department.
9. Service vehicles in storage to prevent deterioration of tires, batteries, and finishes.
10. Maintain vehicle appearance and performance through cleaning, fluid replenishment, and battery replacement.
11. Place buyer guides and stock tags on vehicles.
12. Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed.
13. Clean driveways and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as needed.
14. Drive vehicles to and from service areas and parking lots.
15. Create key tags for vehicles.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
* No prior experience or training required.
* Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training, or equivalent.
* High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.
* One-year certificate from college or technical school, or 3-6 months related experience/training, or equivalent.
* Associate's degree or equivalent, or 6 months to 1 year related experience/training, or equivalent.
Language Skills
* Ability to read and understand simple instructions, memos, and correspondence.
* Ability to write simple reports and correspondence.
* Effective communication skills for presenting information to customers and employees.
Mathematical Skills
* Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with numbers, currency, and measurements.
* Ability to perform operations with fractions and decimals, and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability
* Apply common sense to carry out simple instructions.
* Deal with standardized situations and solve problems involving concrete variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
