This full-time Warehouse Manager role at Skinkandy offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the efficient operations of our busy distribution centre in Maroochydore, QLD. As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement within our warehouse operations.
What you'll be doing
* Manage and lead a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring they are trained, motivated and working efficiently
* Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of all products and materials
* Implement and monitor warehouse processes and procedures to maximise productivity and minimise errors
* Analyse warehouse data and generate reports to identify opportunities for improvement
* Maintain a safe and compliant warehouse environment, adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure the warehouse is meeting the company's operational and customer service objectives
* Proactively identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the warehouse workflow
What we're looking for
* Significant experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar senior warehousing role
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making abilities
* Proficient in warehouse management systems and inventory control processes
* Thorough understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* A commitment to continuous improvement and driving operational excellence
