**The Role**
The Business Intelligence Officer is;
- Required to contribute to strategic planning, program and project management or policy development for SeMPRO, providing advice on innovation and business improvement.
- To manage, update and maintain Defence's business process information on sexual misconduct disclosure, reporting and incident management.
- Provide support on emerging media issues, including monitoring media relevant to SeMPRO.
- Effectively communicate insight derived from analysis to support decision making.
- Resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.
**About our Team**
SeMPRO provides 24/7 confidential support and advice (through 1800 SeMPRO) to all current or ex-serving ADF members, Australian Public Service employees, Defence contractors, ADF Cadets, Instructors or Officers of ADF Cadets, colleagues, friends or family members who have been impacted by sexual misconduct.
The Business Intelligence and Communications Team is newly established and is responsible for engaging with internal and external stakeholders and the offices of HPC and DEPSEC DP, to coordinate and manage written communication products including decision briefs, ministerial correspondence, and public facing reporting. The team is also accountable for the update of business and policy communication products.
