Job Description

Liverpool City Council is seeking passionate and dedicated Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educators to join our talented and committed team, supporting the Early Childhood Teacher in the design, implementation and evaluation of high-quality inquiry based educational curriculums for children attending our services. Council owns and operates six Early Education and Care Centres and two Preschools across the LGA. Our educators take pride in their profession with all services being rated as "National Quality Standards" for several years. Our teams value a positive, inclusive, motivated and collaborative workplace culture.
About You
As a Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educator, you will work alongside an experienced Early Childhood Teacher and passionate educating team to support the development of a curriculum and learning environment, underpinned by the development of strong nurturing relationships which encourages pursuits of curiosity, critical thinking skills and a passion for learning. It is essential that you possess a Diploma of Children's Services and have child protection training approved and recognised by ACECQA. A first aid certificate is also essential. In addition, you will have detailed knowledge of child development and contemporary theories/approaches to early childhood education and care and a thorough understanding of Early Childhood Regulations.

Requirements / Qualifications
* Diploma of Children's Services
