Registered Nurse - Emergency | Mackay Base Hospital, Queensland About the Role: Mackay Base Hospital's Emergency Department (ED) is a Level 4 clinical service capability, managing both adult and paediatric patients. The department features 2 Resuscitation/Trauma bays, 3 High Dependency (HDU) bays, 12 acute bed spaces, 5 paediatric bays, 12 fast track spaces, 16 short stay beds, 2 mental health bays, and 1 isolation HDU bay. The ED sees over 150 patients per day, offering a fast-paced and challenging environment for experienced emergency nurses.
