The Mathematics | Science Teacher plays a vital and valued role within the GMAS teaching community, working under the guidance of the Heads of Department. Backfilling a period of Long Service Leave, this position is responsible for delivering a high-quality academic program and providing wellbeing support to students within the class group. The School is committed to a holistic approach to curriculum design and delivery, and the role of Teacher is central to fostering this philosophy and maintaining best practice in teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and diverse teaching programs tailored to meet all students' needs
* Monitor and report on student progress while fostering a nurturing environment
* Inspire and motivate students through relevant and challenging coursework
* Support the co-curricular program and participate in school activities, including camps
* Take an active role in pastoral care, ensuring a safe and positive classroom atmosphere
