Overview
An experienced Contracts Manager is sought to join a fast-growing renewable energy business delivering large-scale solar and battery storage projects across Australia. The role involves taking ownership of the contractual and commercial management of major energy projects from tender through to completion, leading contract strategy, negotiation and administration across client, subcontractor, and supplier agreements, and driving value while minimising risk.
You will collaborate with project, finance and legal teams to manage claims and variations, resolve disputes, and oversee budgets and forecasts. You will lead a small contracts team, providing leadership and mentoring to foster continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Base pay range
A$180,000.00/yr - A$220,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of EPC, O&M; and D&C; contracts in the renewable energy sector.
- Negotiation, drafting, execution and administration of complex contracts.
- Risk identification, claims management and dispute resolution.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships across clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Providing leadership to Contracts Administrators and ensuring high performance.
About you / Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Law, Business, Construction Management or related discipline.
- 7+ years’ experience in contract management within construction or infrastructure.
- Strong track record in complex contract negotiations and risk management.
- Knowledge of Australian construction law and standards.
- Experience in renewable energy (solar and/or battery storage) will be highly regarded.
