Job Overview
The Warehouse Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our warehouse facility.
This position requires the ability to maintain efficient machine lines, perform daily forklift pre-start checklists, and comply with mobile equipment site rules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Loading and unloading stock and putting stock away efficiently
* Performing daily forklift pre-start checklists to ensure machine safety and efficiency
* Placing gluts onto packs to facilitate loading and splitting packs as needed
* Sorting through damaged stocks with high attention to detail
* Ensuring quality standards are met in accordance with product specifications
* Accurately recording and maintaining data on relevant reports/forms
* Collecting reject samples from production runs
* Manual handling of up to 20 kg and general housekeeping duties
Requirements:
* Hold a valid driver's license and own vehicle
* Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of workplace safety
* Be open to performing manual labor around the warehouse as required
* Exhibit excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Prior manufacturing and warehouse background experience is highly regarded
