Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading teams to deliver the lines maintenance program through effective management methodology, financial control, governance, development and implementation of initiatives, project/program reporting and forecasting, quality control to ensure achievement and compliance with our policies and procedures. This role requires regular travel across various regions and can be based in any of these depots.
This individual will influence teams from across the business to ensure that the program is delivered to a high level of quality and in a timely and efficient manner. They will make program decisions, participate in decision-making with consideration for broader business objectives. The candidate will also keep abreast of industry changes and create strategies to ensure the relevance of the business in a dynamically changing market.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in an Engineering, Project Management, Construction or Management discipline
* Extensive experience in the power industry in the areas of project management, construction and/or operations
* Previous experience leading a large and diverse technical workforce
* Detailed understanding of overhead line asset maintenance processes and systems including overhead line methodologies/techniques
* Detailed knowledge of all aspects associated with project management & business management
