Position Overview
Murwillumbah District Hospital offers an exciting opportunity for a Nursing Unit Manager who will be responsible for the efficient management of nursing and other staff under their delegation, and coordination of nursing care. The manager leads nursing staff, ensures effective liaison between all health professionals, and is responsible for the environmental and work‐health and safety management of the unit.
In this role you will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, person‐centred, culturally responsive rehabilitation care that supports optimal functional recovery for patients across the rural and regional communities of the local area catchment. You will ensure effective coordination across the rehabilitation and reablement pathway, supporting safe transitions between acute, sub‐acute, community, and primary care services.
