**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity for a Financial Markets Operations Officer to support BOQ Group during our transformation journey on a 12-month max term basis. By joining the digital bank of the future, you will be able to make a difference with integrity and empathy, contributing to the successful process of currency telegraphic transfer, adding significant value to our organisation.
As an Operations Officer of Financial Markets in our supportive treasury and international operations team, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately processing all outward AUD and foreign currency telegraphic transfers through iTAPS. This will include ensuring that funding has been received, payment filtering has been applied and payment details have been verified, containing full and accurate information before being released by the required currency deadline
Reporting to the Team Leader of Financial Markets Operations, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders including the AML and Treasury Dealers teams, as well as clients and counterparties - this means there is a lot of great learning!
**About you**
As a bubbly and confident team player, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment while always seeking to learn new things.
You will have a full or partial degree in Banking, Finance, Business, FINSIA Course, or equivalent. You will also have previous experience in a Treasury or International Operations environment with exposure to international banking and payments, nostro accounts and the cs4 - high value clearing stream preferred.
