Job Overview
As a Bartender at The Groove Train, you will deliver an outstanding dining and drinking experience to our patrons.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers, taking drink orders, and providing menu recommendations.
- Mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
- Adhering to all company and legal alcohol service policies.
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
- Monitoring and managing inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, and bar supplies.
- Engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborating with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Following health and safety guidelines to ensure the well‐being of guests and staff.
- Participating in staff training and meetings as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of bartending experience. (Required)
- RSA licence. (Required)
- Work authorisation for Australia. (Required)
- Ability to commute or relocate to CHIRNSIDE PARK, VIC 3116 before starting work.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $24.87 - $36.09 per hour. Salary is contingent on experience and shift type.
Benefits: Employee discount.
Supplementary Pay: Bonus, Christmas bonus, Penalty rates, Performance bonus, Tips.
Schedule
- Expected hours: No less than 20 per week.
- Shift types: 10 hour shift, 8 hour shift, afternoon shift, day shift, evening shift, morning shift, shift work.
Job Types
Full‐time, Part‐time, Casual.

In person.
