This is an excellent opportunity for an established Care Manager or DDON looking to manage this large-sized Aged Care Facility clinically in Maroochydore
The Role
This is a rare opportunity to work alongside a widely respected Regional Manager and Facility Manager who are committed to creating an inspiring and uplifting environment for their staff and residents. We are looking for a Care Manager who is a natural leader and prides themselves on their leadership skills.
As the Care Manager, you will need to take a collaborative approach and work closely with the Care Coordinator to ensure optimum standards of care are delivered. Together, you will lead and execute best-practice clinical care processes and procedures to minimise risk and maximise resident independence and well-being.
A strong structure will assist you. You will work alongside a dedicated quality, funding, and operations team, 2 CCC, and you will be able to delegate work to other Senior Clinical staff.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Registered Nurse - AHPRA registration.
* 4+ years of Care Manager experience.
* Clinical Leadership : Experience in providing clinical leadership, supervision, and education to nursing and care staff.
* Compliance and Accreditation : Knowledge of legislative and statutory requirements, and experience in maintaining accreditation standards.
* Human Resource Management : Skills in recruitment, selection, rostering, staff development, and performance management.
* Funding Optimisation : Experience in preparing and submitting accurate funding documentation.
* Communication : Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
* Clinical Training and Coaching : Deliver clinical training, coaching, and professional development to nursing and care staff to enhance their skills and performance.
* Customer Focus : Commitment to delivering customer-centric solutions and building strong relationships with residents and their families.
* Conflict Management : Skills in resolving conflicts with positive outcomes for all parties involved.
* Decision Making : Ability to make well-informed, timely decisions with a person-centred focus that considers long-term impact and goals.
