Due to continued growth across Australia, Georgiou is seeking a Management Accountant with relevant tertiary qualifications and experience to join our office-based civil engineering East Coast team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the financial and management reporting of the Queensland Business Unit. What You'll Do (but Not Limited To)
* Provide ongoing support to project teams regarding financial aspects and participate in monthly project reviews.
* Account for a range of externally led Joint Ventures.
* Prepare the monthly Queensland BU overheads and forecast, and present to the General Manager.
* Responsible for preparing the Queensland BU annual budgets and monthly reforecast of the Full Year financial results.
* Conduct Monthly Bank Account Reconciliations, Profit Margin Reports, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, and manage Debtors & Creditors for related entities.
* Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and systems to produce accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Assist in preparing the annual FBT return.
* Provide leadership, guidance, and assistance to managers and the wider business.
* Identify coaching/training needs of staff involved in financial processes and the financial accounting team.
What You're Good At

* Experience as a Financial or Management Accountant in the construction or engineering sector.
* A finance or accounting degree; CPA or CA status is highly regarded.
* Excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationships.
* A highly analytical approach with strong attention to detail.
