Job Description
Permanent part‐time opportunity available at Westpac's Hamilton branch. Genuine opportunity to begin a long‐lasting career and work as part of your local community. Hours: 35 hours per week across 8.30am – 4.15pm, Monday to Friday.
As a Personal Banking Advisor, you'll be at the heart of our branch network, welcoming customers to Westpac and engaging in meaningful conversations to uncover their needs. You will utilise your product knowledge to assist customers in achieving their financial goals – both in‐person and over the phone – and refer them to our specialised banking teams when necessary. This rewarding role sees your dedication and expertise empower customers to make the most of their money, each and every day.
Qualifications
* Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer‐facing or phone‐based role with a track record of working to targets.
* Resilience, staying calm and composed while managing challenging situations.
* Comfortable working towards sales and referral targets and calling customers over the phone.
* Numerical capability, with proficiency in cash handling and counting and the ability to complete financial transactions accurately.
* An energetic personality allied with a genuine passion for helping people.
* The will to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies.
