About CALIBRE

Founded in 1989, CALIBRE has surpassed 37 years as Australia's benchmark for elevated menswear.

CALIBRE's obsessive focus on creating exceptional product, has solidified its place as the destination for wearable, contemporary pieces that stand the test of time.

Since opening our first boutique in Chapel St, Melbourne. CALIBRE has grown its boutique presence across the country, and is available to shop in Australia's premier shopping precincts.

To this day, CALIBRE remains a family-owned business and operates out of Melbourne, where craft and culture is cultivated with a focus on purely in-house designed product. Creating unique pieces for unique individuals.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and dynamic Boutique Manager who is passionate about delivering a personable and memorable customer experience. In this role, you will confidently lead by example on the floor, engage with clients, style and sell CALIBRE's premium menswear collections, and build genuine, long-term customer relationships.

You will thrive in a premium retail environment, proactively driving sales performance, leading and developing a high-performing team, and ensuring CALIBRE's luxury standards are upheld across customer service, visual merchandising, and store operations, representing the brand as a true ambassador in every client interaction.

The CALIBRE Leader we are looking for is:

* A confident communicator - You build genuine connections, make clients feel heard, and create an enjoyable experience that goes beyond the sale.
* Polished and professional – As a brand that holds high attention to detail for our product and store environment, we expect the same from our team. First impressions count, and you understand the value of presenting yourself with care and attention to detail.
* Authentic and personable - You bring energy, personality, and positivity to every interaction and every team environment. Long-standing relationships are built on trust, being authentic and being yourself.
* Experienced – Prior work in retail is favourable, however, a strong management background is essential. Our team is diverse with many long-term team members starting their first ever job in retail with CALIBRE. As it sits at the top, confident communication is the most important aspect to being successful with us, so if your occupation background includes hospitality, any form of sales, client facing, or social role that has built your communication skills, that is fantastic.
* Driven and growth-focused – Our brand is growing every year, and our team is filled with driven team members, hungry to keep this momentum and keep learning.

At its core, a successful candidate will be a confident and strong communicator that can aptly demonstrate this in an interview. They will be driven, authentic, and personable. Eager to build relationships

What Separates CALIBRE From Other Brands

Competitive pay and bonuses - Remuneration is important. We are proud to boast one of the strongest incentive packages out of any retail company. We have very strong performance-based compensation that is designed to reward effort and results.

Strong retention levels amongst head office and retail teams - We have numerous team members within our business that have been on board with us for over 10 years. We want to provide the best environment possible for anyone coming on board, because if you are genuinely happy working, you're going to be better off and going to bring an amazing energy to the shop floor.

Genuine opportunity for continual progression – There is always an opportunity for progression at CALIBRE, whether that is a title, and/or remuneration. We have had team members move from our retail team to our office team (design, eCom, marketing most typically) as the brand has always placed a huge emphasis on the importance of prior work in our retail stores. The retail environment is where you get first-hand experience with our client, with our product, hence is the perfect springboard to step into an adjacent role within Calibre.

Product we are proud of - All our product is designed in Melbourne at our Head Office, and the entire process to make our product is extremely granular. There is so much detail in our fabric sourcing, pattern making and silhouette construction, and overall design process, that we end up with a product we are proud of. When you are genuinely passionate and confident in your product, styling and selling it becomes that much easier, and we are proud to be the leading menswear designer in Australia and sell such a premium product.

We are a growing brand with a driven team - Every year since 2021 has been a bigger and better year. Setting records every year in turnover, having momentum behind you is exciting, kicking goals is fun. Our team are driven to continue this progression and excited for the constant evolution of Calibre. Our sights are set on global expansion, and we can't wait to bring on board more team members to support and grow our business.

A great client - CALIBRE has stood the test of time for over 36 years and has an eclectic mix of new clients, alongside brand loyalists. Our clients care about their presentation, care about the brand, and care about our staff. Many of our clients shop not just for the product we sell, but because of their strong relationship they have made with our team.

Remuneration Benefits

* Competitive salary
* Uncapped personal commission and bonuses
* Up to 70% off our premium product range plus exclusive external discount with brand partners
* Earn up to $4,000 per referral through our employee referral scheme

If you have a genuine passion for the fashion industry and bring a professional, enthusiastic approach to the role, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to be a part of the CALIBRE team.
