Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality food and providing exceptional dining services to our residents.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist with meal preparation, provide a quality dining service, and support your peers in maintaining a cooperative team spirit.
In this role, you will work closely with other team members to ensure the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene are maintained at all times.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is desirable but not essential.
* Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene.
* Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
* Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families.
* NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
