Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an Associate Lecturer / Lecturer in Social Work and Human Services to join the School of Public Health and Social Work, Faculty of Health. The position is teaching intensive and will contribute to teaching across the Social Work and Human Services programs.

What you need to succeed
Level A
Completion of a higher degree in the relevant discipline area, and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Understanding and ability to deliver critical approaches to learning and teaching, including the use of digital technologies and authentic assessment.
Understanding of critical theory and practice orientation as it applies to Social Work.
Ability to develop internal and external partnerships that support and extend teaching.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work collegially and cooperatively in a team environment.
Level B
Completion of a doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline area, and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Proven ability to effectively embed and deliver critical approaches to learning and teaching, including the innovative use of digital technologies and authentic assessment, resulting in quality student outcomes.
Detailed understanding of critical theory and practice orientation as it applies to Social Work.
Demonstrated success at developing internal and external partnerships that support and extend teaching.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work collegially and cooperatively in a team environment.
