The Opportunity
This is a standalone Legal & Compliance Manager role reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team. You will operate as the central legal advisor across the business, partnering with investment, development, finance and asset management teams to support transactions, structuring, governance and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing legal aspects of acquisitions, developments, disposals and investment transactions
* Instructing and coordinating external counsel
* Supporting corporate and investment structures (entities, trusts, SPVs, partnerships)
* Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
* Overseeing regulatory compliance frameworks and investor obligations
* Maintaining governance processes, risk registers and policy frameworks
* Acting as the key internal legal liaison across all business units.
This role will suit a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys autonomy, visibility and partnering with decision-makers rather than operating in a large legal hierarchy.
About You
You will likely have:
* 4+ years' post-admission experience in corporate, commercial, property or funds law
* Experience supporting transactions and managing external advisers
* Exposure to regulated environments and compliance frameworks
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills
* The confidence to operate autonomously within a lean executive structure
* A pragmatic, solutions-focused and commercially balanced approach.
