About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Leading Hand / Site Supervisor to join our Westbury Constructions' team in the Central Coast NSW. Maybe you are a successful leading hand carpenter looking to take that next step into site supervising.
What you'll be doing
* Overseeing and coordinating the work of trade teams on site to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
* Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
* Monitoring project progress and quality, and providing regular updates to the Project Manager
* Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to facilitate the smooth running of the project
* Mentoring and training junior members of the construction team
* Identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact the project
What we're looking for
* Extensive experience as a Leading Hand in the construction industry
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
* Relevant trade qualifications
