About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Plan Manager to join our team on a temporary basis, covering maternity leave for 12 months (with the possibility of extension). This vital role offers variety, with responsibilities to oversee the Plan Manager and organisations Accounts department.
You will provide high-level administrative support, ensure effective communication across departments, and contribute to a positive, participant-focused environment. The role includes promoting continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and NDIS guidelines.
The Plan Manager reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with the Executive and Service Delivery teams to ensure compliant, participant‐focused financial management.
This role plays a critical part in protecting participant choice and control by ensuring their NDIS funds are managed accurately, transparently, and in line with their goals.
* Oversee the Plan Management Department
* End-to-end NDIS Plan Management
* Processing provider invoices in line with service agreements
* Monitoring participant budgets and funding categories
* Liaising with participants, nominees, providers and the NDIA
* Ensuring claims comply with NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Practice Standards
* Prepare and submit NDIS invoices, NDIS payment claims and service agreements
* Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and reporting
* Communicate effectively with participants, team members, management and external stakeholders
* NDIS claims via PRODA and PACE
* Participant budget oversight and reporting
* Service agreement setup and validation
* Provider liaison and payment processing
Accounts and Administrational Responsibilities
* Payroll assistance as required
* Provide administrative support requiring judgement, initiative, confidentiality, and sensitivity
* Fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
* Lead and encourage continuous improvement in service delivery
* Manage records, data entry, meeting minutes, and office supplies
* Assist with internal and external audits
* Promote AbilityLiving-MyWay to participants and partners
About You
* Minimum 3 years' experience in NDIS Plan Management, accounts, or a similar role
* Proven ability to manage NDIS funds in line with Pricing Arrangements, compliance requirements, and participant choice and control
* Experience with end‐to‐end Plan Management, including claims, budgets, and provider liaison
* High attention to detail with strong financial and data accuracy skills
* Excellent communication and problem‐solving skills, able to work independently and in a team
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Sound understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and professional boundaries
* Commitment to inclusion, social justice, and participant‐centred practice
* Demonstrated experience in a similar Plan Management, Accounts, or NDIS Administration role
* Qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field
* Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, Pricing Arrangements, and compliance requirements
* Proven experience using NDIS platforms including PRODA and PACE
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
* Valid driver's licence
* Current First Aid certificate
* Cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and National Police Check
* Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module Quality, Safety and You
* Experience using Brevity Care or similar client management systems
* Willingness to learn new systems, with training provided in internal platforms where required
