Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Queensland, Australia, as the Director of Working Women Queensland. Responsibilities include leading the program, developing and implementing strategic initiatives, advocating for the rights and wellbeing of working women, and managing team members to deliver community support services. The successful candidate will oversee stakeholder engagement, policy development, and partnerships that align with organizational goals. Additionally, the Director will ensure compliance with funding and legal requirements while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
* Leadership and management skills, including the ability to effectively guide teams and implement strategic initiatives.
* Strong advocacy and policy development skills to represent and promote the rights of working women.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building abilities.
* Experience in community support services and a deep understanding of social justice and gender equity issues.

* Relevant qualifications in fields such as law, social work, public policy, or related disciplines.
* Experience working in a not-for-profit or community organization is advantageous.
