About The Role
Our successful candidates will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a broad range of specialty areas, including Renal care, Colorectal and General Surgery, General Medicine, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Rehabilitation, Endoscopy, and Neurology.
Each rotation is designed to inspire curiosity, expand clinical expertise, and support career progression.
This enriching program is guided by a Clinical Nurse Educator and includes supernumerary orientation within each ward rotation, as well as four Enrolled Nurse-specific education days throughout the course of the program.
Where You\'ll Be Working
Applications are sought from Enrolled Nurses who have or will complete a Diploma in Nursing, and be registered with AHPRA by July 2025, to join the John Hunter Hospital Enrolled Nurse Transition to Practice Program.
This program will commence on 28 July 2025 and offers permanent full-time positions.
You will have the opportunity to work in John Hunter Hospital Medical Interventional Services, Surgical Services and The Maitland Hospital (Ward 5D only).
Requirements
Registered as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA prior to July 2025.
