About the Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of Global Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) projects. Reporting to the General Manager - GEI, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget, while meeting client and quality expectations. This role will be based in our Brisbane Support Office, with regular engagement across project sites.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Lead the estimating and pricing of E&I scopes for tenders and projects.
2. Represent Global in tender reviews, negotiations, and client discussions at a project level.
3. Build and maintain strong, credible relationships with clients and suppliers, providing expert advice and solutions.
4. Manage front-end project planning and estimation activities initially, with a pathway to taking full ownership of project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and reporting as new projects come online.
5. Provide technical input and guidance across ongoing projects, ensuring compliance with E&I standards.
6. Support the recruitment, onboarding and development of the E&I project team.
7. Contribute to divisional growth strategies, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
8. Work collaboratively with the General Manager – GEI to ensure technical alignment and consistency across projects.
9. Drive safety, quality, and compliance standards across all E&I operations.


Skills And Experiences


About You

You will bring:

10. Trade, Degree, or Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent experience).
11. Demonstrated experience managing E&I projects within the Oil & Gas, energy or resources sectors.
12. A proven track record in client engagement and tender negotiations at a project level.
13. Experience in estimating and tender support, including scope review, cost inputs and project handovers.
14. Working knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and compliance frameworks.
15. Commercial acumen with the ability to manage project performance.
16. Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
