About The Role
Royal Prince Alfred (RPAH) is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O'Brien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker Hospitals. RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.
This new position is responsible for overseeing Cardiology Nursing Services across RPAH. The role operates on a Monday–Friday roster. The role leads and manages the clinical services team to provide excellent patient/client care within the service/unit/facility in order to maximise the health outcomes for the community.

Ideal Candidate
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Recent management experience with experience in leading staff and managing services in the relevant setting, supported by a relevant tertiary management qualification and/or work experience.Has well developed leadership skills and highly developed communication skills including the ability to manage conflicts and performance issues when they arise.
