The restaurant has a unique atmosphere and ambience which is dedicated to our African heritage whilst still having reference to Australian surroundings.
The Meat & Wine Co Circular Quay is looking for experienced and dedicated Chefs who are committed to exceeding our customers' expectations whilst leading a professional and hardworking team.
To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
* 1+ years of proven kitchen experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Prepare all dishes to The Meat & Wine Co standard
* A relevant Diploma qualification OR at least 1-3 years of relevant employment experience
* Experience cooking over a char-grill essential
* Advanced understanding and appreciation of all aspects of food and its service
* Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
* Effective communication skills to maintain a secure and friendly working environment
* Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
* Ensure compliance with all OHS legislation (act and regulation)
* Ability to work over a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, nights and public holidays. A full-time contract available at $70,000-90,000 plus superannuation per annum.
