Position Overview
* In this role, students completing the Marketing & Development internship, will become a part of Canopy's Advancement Department and learn about all facets of how we advance our mission to serve our children and families.
* This internship will provide experience in non-profit marketing, community engagement, and will assist with project management and summer events.
* It\'s essential that applicants in this position have strong communication skills, demonstrate creativity, manage multiple tasks, and understand the importance of attending to even the smallest details.
* Through this internship you will work with a dynamic team of staff and volunteers who are highly committed to the Canopy mission.
* You will gain exposure to a variety of skill sets as you help to support marketing and branding efforts statewide, community engagement and conferences, and volunteer coordination.
* Student must possess excellent oral and written presentation skills, maturity, self-motivation, and must be able to integrate into our vibrantly inclusive and passionate team.
* This opportunity is paid and may not be used for academic credit.
Internship Program Requirements
* All interns are required to attend a mandatory orientation and training session at the beginning of their internship.
* Business professional attire
* Minimum 100-hour commitment unless stated otherwise in contract.
* Students must satisfactorily complete goals as outlined by their assigned site supervisor.
Required Qualifications
* Current students enrolled in an undergraduate program in Marketing, IMC, Business Administration, Strategic Communications, or related field.
* Must be enrolled, and in good academic standing, with an accredited academic institution at time of internship.
