We’re looking for someone with your passion and depth of experience to join our Perth based team and contribute to the growth of our Western Australia practice. You’ll play a key role in shaping our WA strategy, building long-term relationships with existing and new clients who place value on innovation and deep expertise. You’ll lead complex approval strategies for state significant projects and work with an outstanding team of technical specialists to deliver high quality outcomes and innovation for a diverse range of mining, energy and infrastructure approvals projects. Most importantly, you’ll have a voice and plenty of support and opportunity to influence, shape and grow our Western Australian practice.

Here’s what you can expect
* You’ll join a leading team and leverage opportunities to work with our existing clients with a focus on project managing environmental assessments and approvals strategies across a range of sectors
* You’ll lead primary and secondary assessments and approvals under WA environmental and planning legislation for State significant projects across diverse industries

Here’s what you’ll bring to have impact
* A minimum of 15 years’ experience and a leader in environmental management, assessments and / or approvals across major projects
* A thorough knowledge of and experience with environmental and planning legislation at a State and Federal level
* Experience in the delivery of environmental approvals across mining, energy, renewables and infrastructure
* A strong network and relationships with clients and regulators
* Experience in Project Director roles focused on strategic advice, client relationships, critical thinking, problem-solving, risk awareness, guidance/mentoring of junior staff, and ensuring high quality deliverables
* Highly developed research, analysis and report writing skills
* You listen and understand other’s views and work together to create opportunities for all
* You do what is right for your stakeholders to deliver what is true as opposed to popular
* You understand the strength of humility and that no one is bigger than the team
