About the Role
As the Operations Administrator, you will be the backbone of our day-to-day logistics operations. You'll provide vital administrative support to ensure the efficient movement of freight, assist with scheduling, data entry, customer communication, and compliance documentation. No two days are the same in this fast-paced role!
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the operations and transport teams
* Monitor and update delivery schedules and job bookings
* Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal departments to ensure timely service
* Maintain accurate records of consignments, dockets, and PODs
* Process invoices, job confirmations and data entry into relevant systems
* Assist with compliance documentation and reporting requirements
* Support pallet tracking and reconciliation activities
* Respond to customer queries and resolve issues promptly
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience in administration within the transport, logistics, or supply chain sector
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach
* Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
* Knowledge of transport management systems (TMS) highly regarded
