Their Dandenong South facility is a benchmark for automation, cleanliness, and operational excellence. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their team on permanent night shift, Monday to Friday.
Your new role
As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the electrical reliability of high-speed, automated production and packaging equipment. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on electrical systems and machinery
* Diagnosing and repairing faults on PLCs, sensors, motors, and control panels
* Supporting production teams with line changeovers and equipment setups
* Working with automation and SCADA systems to ensure optimal performance
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records and adhering to safety protocols
* Participating in continuous improvement and energy efficiency initiatives
This is a night shift role, Monday to Friday, offering stability, work-life balance, and plenty of overtime for those looking to increase their earnings.
What you'll need to succeed
* A-Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a fast-paced FMCG or manufacturing environment
* Strong fault-finding skills and experience with PLCs (e.g. Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
* Ability to read electrical schematics and work autonomously
* A proactive, safety-first mindset and strong communication skills
