$44.77 to $51.46 per hour + salary packaging | Occupational Therapist (Mental Health) Grade 2

Permanent Full Time opportunity | 80 hours per fortnight including a monthly ADO | Part Time applicants encouraged to apply!

About The Role

We are looking for a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join the Secure Extended Care Unit (SECU) in a permanent role. Flexible hours are available, making this an ideal opportunity for those experienced in mental health or therapists interested in transitioning into the field with strong support. You will deliver occupation focused therapy in both group and individual formats, contribute to care planning and discharge processes, and help strengthen our therapeutic program within a collaborative allied health team.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and evaluate evidence-based individual and group therapy Participate in supervision, professional development and the GMHWS OT network Lead and coordinate the multidisciplinary therapeutic group program Collaborate with clinical teams and Lived and Living Experience Workforce on care planning Lead sensory modulation assessments and interventions Support NDIS applications for SECU consumers

Skills & Experience

AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist (Unrestricted) Approved OT degree or equivalent recognised qualification Minimum two years post-graduate experience
