The Network Lifecycle Management (NLM) organization is responsible for scaling and maintaining Amazon's global network capacity. Within NLM, the Connectivity Services team owns the planning, ordering, and fulfillment of network cabling projects. This includes building software to ensure predictable, on‐time delivery of materials to deliver network capacity.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of substantial parts of complex, large-scale problems with real impact on Amazon's infrastructure.
* Develop fulfillment automation that optimizes material orders and resource allocation at scale.
* Define your own direction, shape technical solutions, and drive meaningful outcomes across the cabling lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications
* 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
* 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
* Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
