Administration Officer Role

The Administration Officer plays a vital role in supporting the success of our team. This position is responsible for providing administrative and business support to ensure the smooth operation of our activities.

About the Role:

This role involves coordinating activities, identifying risks and determining appropriate courses of action to meet stakeholder needs. The successful candidate will be able to perform complex procedural, operational, administrative and business support activities and tasks that support the delivery of outcomes for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing schedule, risk, budget and resources;
* Preparing briefings, submissions, reports and returns relating to business area progress and issues;
* Engaging and negotiating with stakeholders on complex issues;
* Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to build and sustain effective relationships;
* Taking initiative to progress work to meet business objectives, providing advice and guidance on complex issues;
* Resolving problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.

About Our Team:

You will be part of a high-performing team in the Air Combat Systems Program Office (ACSPO), which sits in the Aerospace Systems Combat Branch, under Aerospace Systems Division in the Department of Defence.

Requirements:

* A sound understanding of project governance frameworks or ability to quickly acquire such understanding;
* Sound experience in sustainment and governance administration to effectively support our requirements;
* Ability to develop effective briefings, submissions, reports and associated correspondence;
* Familiarity in driving innovation and continuous improvement of processes;
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for providing efficient and effective administration and governance services and outcomes.
