A leading enterprise organisation is seeking a Senior Atlassian & Microsoft 365 Specialist to join its Digital Workplace function on an initial 6-month contract.
This role will provide technical leadership, governance and optimisation across enterprise collaboration platforms, ensuring they remain secure, scalable and aligned to business needs.
About the Role
You will take ownership of the Microsoft 365 and Atlassian environments, acting as the senior escalation point while driving continuous improvement, automation and platform adoption across the organisation.
This is a hands-on leadership role balancing operational stability (BAU) and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, configuration and governance of Microsoft 365 and Atlassian platforms
Drive platform optimisation, automation and user adoption initiatives
Act as the Level 3 escalation point for complex incidents and requests
Provide technical leadership across projects and operational environments
Strengthen governance frameworks, standards and best practices
Partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure reliable, secure services
Support integration and enterprise-wide digital uplift initiatives
Required Experience
Enterprise-level Microsoft 365 administration (Teams, Teams Voice, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, security & compliance)
Strong Atlassian experience (Jira & Confluence – workflows, permissions, governance models)
Experience managing Microsoft & Atlassian licensing and true-ups
Knowledge of M365 backup strategies and tooling
Proven experience operating as a Level 3 escalation point
Demonstrated success uplifting platform governance and standards in large environments
