Role and impact
If you've ever wished you could address the deep connections between neurodivergent minds and dysregulated bodies—where ADHD medication affects heart rate, where mast cell activation amplifies sensory sensitivities, where anxiety might actually be orthostatic intolerance—Biio offers that opportunity. Here, you won't wonder if psychiatric symptoms have physiological drivers because comprehensive biio.marker assessments map the inflammatory and autonomic contributors before you even begin.
Your psychiatric expertise gains new dimensions through structured pathways and real-time collaboration. Your observations about medication responses become visible to the whole team the same day, shaping medical, psychological, and rehabilitation plans. Your craft matters here, and patients will feel the difference when their care finally connects all the pieces.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate daily with colleagues across Psychology & Psychotherapy, Specialist & General Medicine, Allied Health, Nutrition & Lifestyle, and Patient Experience & Support to deliver integrated care.
- Inform medication decisions so they align with psychological therapy, sensory interventions, and autonomic management—the work is coordinated through the Biiography platform.
- Map physiological drivers of psychiatric symptoms and contribute to treatment plans that address the whole person, not just isolated symptoms.
- Communicate psychiatric concepts to integrative teams and write assessments that medical colleagues can act on.
- Contribute to a pathway-focused model that expands neurodivergent health care and invisible illness management.
What you’ll learn
- Clinical understanding of how psychiatric conditions intersect with dysautonomia, mast cell activation, and hypermobility disorders.
- Systems thinking within Biiography to inform the whole team’s approach and ensure physiological safety when sequencing interventions.
- Professional skills for collaborative care across medicine, psychology, and allied health.
Growth and support
- Structured supervision with an integrative medical team and case-based education on when to suspect underlying drivers and how to select medications that account for multiple system involvement.

- Grow as a pathway specialist in neurodivergent health across the five body systems, shaping a leadership role in an emerging field.
