Mansfield Shire Council seeks an enthusiastic, experienced and community‐focused individual to serve as Community Resilience Officer. The role involves coordinating the planning, implementation, and ongoing review of Council's emergency management responsibilities in accordance with the Emergency Management Act, State Emergency Management Plan, and Municipal Emergency Management Plan.
The Officer reports to the Manager Bushfire Recovery and supports the Municipal Emergency Management Officer (MEMO), Municipal Recovery Manager (MRM), and Municipal Emergency Management Planning Committee (MEMPC) in delivering their legislated roles and responsibilities in relation to AGRN 1242.
Position is Fixed Term, Full Time until 30 June 2028.
