The role of Tech Lead in RLDatix is a key position within the Professional Service team focused primarily on working with our Australian Defence Force (ADF) sector clients in Canberra. The role requires the candidate to have and maintain a NV1 or NV2 Security Clearance .
As a leader in the RLDatix team, you will lead technical teams to plan, develop and test solutions to enhance, optimise and automate existing business and technical processes. You must be confident, motivated, and capable of prioritising your work effort and that of your team. You will be comfortable communicating at all levels within RLDatix, with customers and the wider RLDatix group.
You will exhibit leadership skills in managing team goals and priorities. The role is on the front line and the incumbent must be comfortable dealing at all levels including fellow technologists, non-technical clients, and end users.
The ability to direct and guide the team with a strong focus on group results and organisational skills will see the incumbent succeed in this role. The ability to adapt continuous improvement in all aspects will see the incumbent supersede the role.

You will line manage a small team of Technical and/or Product Consultants and be part of the RLDatix leadership group.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sustainment Delivery Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for;
· Taking lead and ownership of tickets raised and escalated through Support portal.
· Specification, planning, development and testing of solutions and/or specialised functions with an eye to enhancing, optimising, or automating existing business and/or technical processes.
· Managing customer expectations around timelines, deliverables, solutions requirements and enhancements, risks.
· Plan, manage and review work sustainment sprints.
· Line management of a team – performance management, engagement, s, career development, coaching.
· MAPS and OneView experts – deep technical knowledge of config layers and data integration points to be able to engage well with customers and delegate efficiently.
· Manage skills and knowledge within the team and identify where upskilling and cross skilling are required.
· Plan for contingencies and future priority customer events.
· Act as an escalation point in relation to customer communications.
· Able to work on assigned tickets or priority requests when required.
