Tritium is a global leader in DC fast charging technology for electric vehicles, and we're looking for a talented Firmware Engineer to join a small, high-performing team building the embedded software that drives our next generation of DC fast chargers.

What You'll Do
* Design, develop, and debug embedded C firmware for Tritium's charging systems, from bare-metal microcontrollers to embedded Linux environments
* Build test plans, unit tests, and simulations to validate firmware quality and performance
* Contribute to firmware architecture decisions that improve scalability and maintainability
* Participate in hands‐on hardware bring‐up of circuits and peripherals
* Collaborate closely with hardware, systems, and validation engineers to ship cohesive products
* Engage with Customer Support and Production teams to identify and deliver firmware improvements
* Write and maintain clear documentation covering design, testing, and support
What You'll Bring
* A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
* 2–5 years of embedded firmware development experience
* Strong C programming skills and solid fundamentals in architecture, data structures, and memory management
* The ability to read and interpret electronic schematics
* Sharp debugging and troubleshooting instincts
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Have
* Experience across both bare-metal and embedded Linux platforms
* Familiarity with EV systems, charging technologies, or power electronics
* Exposure to version control, CI/CD, and configuration management practices
