The Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Health and Community Impact to join our senior leadership team. This is a vital and influential role responsible for translating the Family Centre's strategic vision into the effective and impactful delivery of all our health services, health programs, and community/digital experiences.
Reporting directly to a newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, you will be integral to driving the next phase of the Family Centre's growth and impact.
The Opportunity
The Head of Health & Community Impact is a senior leadership role. You will oversee all client and community-facing operations, establishing a single point of accountability for service delivery. This role is critical to growing the Family Centre's social impact, strengthening our program foundations, and ensuring the long-term sustainability and growth of services for the T1D community.
The successful candidate will be pivotal in supporting the delivery of our services in line with our new Strategic Plan, launching in early ****.
This is a full-time (initial 12-month contract) role based in Perth, WA.
Key Areas of Responsibility
This role is a key advisor to the CEO on all service delivery matters. You will collaborate closely with the CEO, contributing to a whole-of-organisation leadership approach.
Program & Service Leadership: Oversee the effective design, implementation, and evaluation of all Family Centre programs and services. Lead the Community & Digital Experience, Health Programs, and Health Services teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and education. Ensure the Family Centre has effective clinical governance frameworks, processes and compliance across Health Services.
Strategic Alignment: Translate the organisational strategic plan into actionable delivery plans. You will act as a key advisor to the CEO on service delivery, providing data and insights to inform strategic decision-making and clinical governance.
Virtual & Digital Care: Drive the expansion and integration of virtual care services and oversee the development of digital programs.
Financial Management: Manage the budget for all programs and services in partnership with the CEO. You will also work with the CEO to identify and grow revenue/income streams to ensure the long-term sustainability of this role and the organisation.
People & Culture: Manage, mentor, and develop all employees, subcontractors, and volunteers within the Health & Community Impact areas, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.

What You Will Bring
Senior leadership experience, preferably in a health, community services, or clinical management role.
Proven experience in leading, managing, and developing diverse teams.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and grant acquittals.
Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain with funding bodies, health professionals, and the community
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Public Health, Social Sciences, Allied Health, Business Management, or a related field. (Desirable)
Knowledge of grant management, compliance, and reporting in a non-profit or health context. (Desirable)
