Our team is seeking a skilled Process Operator Specialist to join us at our Starbase, TX facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Equipment Monitoring and Maintenance: Identify equipment and process deviations, perform corrective actions, and troubleshoot issues with centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, gas analyzers, control systems, instrument electrical systems, and process control valves.
* Process Optimization: Work with engineers, technicians, and fabricators to implement fluid and mechanical designs in the field, and collaborate with engineers and technicians to create operating procedures.
* Inventory Management: Use knowledge of systems and existing documentation to create and maintain a mature and efficient hardware inventory system, including procurement of critical spares.
Requirements:
* A strong foundation in mechanical or electrical engineering technology, or equivalent experience in process operations, instrumentation/electrical operations, mechanic/millwright support, or plant operations.
* Familiarity with mechanical equipment, systems, and controls, including P&ID and schematic wiring diagrams.
* The ability to work outside with hand tools, climb ladders to elevated platforms, and operate man-lifts at elevations in excess of 100 feet.
Additional Requirements:
* A flexible schedule, which could include days, nights, and weekends.
* The willingness and ability to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State, if necessary.
