The Offices of the Vice-President (Administration) and University Registrar, and the General Counsel, are seeking a Business Services Officer to contribute to operational and administrative support functions. The Business Services Officer provides high level secretarial and executive support to the Vice-President (Administration) and University Registrar, and General Counsel.About UsQUT is a major Australian university with a global outlook and a 'real world' focus. The Office of the General Counsel provides advice on general and research-related legal matters, contracts and agreements and supports the university with guidance on policy, statutes and regulations, and provides internal assurance and audit controls including those relating to corruption and fraud prevention..What You Need To SucceedEducation, training and/or experience equivalent to a degree in a relevant discipline combined with subsequent relevant experience in an administrative support capacity.Demonstrated digital literacy including experience in a range of software packages including word processing and large-scale databases.Demonstrated attention to detail, and an ability to manage time and high volume tasks efficiently to meet tight deadlines within the context of competing demands.Ability to work unsupervised, under pressure and with agility in addressing unexpected challenges at short notice.Demonstrated interpersonal and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to work as part of a team, and to consult and liaise with a wide range of people from culturally diverse backgrounds in a professional manner.Effective written communication skills to accurately prepare a range of correspondence and documents, including the ability to handle sensitive information within a confidential environment.Life at QUTWe're Committed To Building a Culture That Fosters Connection Between People And Purpose.
